Performance marketing, with a clear objective

Choose a useful business goal, plan an NGN budget and understand what the numbers actually measure.

Choose the result before the creative

Start with one primary goal: awareness, website traffic, leads or sales. Define what a useful outcome means to your business. A click is a visit opportunity; a registration is not automatically a qualified customer.

For a Nigerian service business, a useful lead might be a completed enquiry with enough detail for a sales conversation. Record qualification consistently rather than changing the definition after seeing results.

Plan a test you can afford

Set total and daily budgets in NGN. Daily caps reset at midnight UTC, which is 01:00 in Nigeria. Leave time to check creative, tracking and the destination before requesting approval.

Example, for planning only: NGN 20,000 at a fixed NGN 1,000 CPM buys at most 20,000 billable impressions before other constraints. It does not predict available inventory, clicks or sales. Novia’s native billing is CPM; choosing a lead goal does not change it to pay-per-lead.

Read efficiency alongside volume

CPM = spend / impressions × 1,000. CPC = spend / clicks. CPA = spend / attributed conversions. ROAS = recorded conversion value / spend. Use matching date ranges and a consistent attribution window.

If a denominator is zero, efficiency is unavailable. Recorded conversion value is not independently verified revenue or profit. Compare qualified and won leads as well as raw conversion counts.

Before you submit

  • Name the goal and conversion action.
  • Check landing-page claims and mobile usability.
  • Confirm the daily cap does not exceed the total budget.
  • Install and test tracking; receiver tests are excluded from results.
  • Review fresh creative and submit for network approval.
